Charles Granville
CEO
Mr. Granville has over 30 years of experience focused on transforming businesses through the use of technology solutions to improve companies’ communications, information, and revenue generating transactions.
Mr. Granville is the owner and CEO of Capita Technologies, a software technology company focused on Interactive Marketing, and Enterprise Government and Business Solutions. Capita was purchased by Interpublic Group (“IPG”, one of the world’s largest marketing companies) in 1999. Mr. Granville reacquired Capita as of 1/1/06. Clients includes: Kraft, Masterfood, Kellogg, Warner Brothers, Coke, Motorola, General Mills, Fox Broadcasting, Los Angeles County, and the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Granville began his career designing, developing, and managing automated banking and manufacturing enterprise applications. He worked for Technology Management Inc. (TMI), a MIT and Citibank venture. His technical career grew from a programmer position to a project manager and finally to CIO. Mr. Granville helped automate the Federal Reserve Monetary System (The money supply for the United States), and Portfolio Management, and Electronic Funds Transfer Systems.
Mr. Granville has founded, purchased, or performed turnarounds for numerous software companies (CimTelligence Corporation (clients: DOE, DOD, Boeing, TRW, General Dynamics), eTrak, and Sagence Systems), as well as held management responsibilities in large enterprises such as SVP Worldwide Marketing at Xerox, and Sales & Marketing executive positions with Burroughs, and Computervision. He holds an MBA (magna cum laude) and a BSBA from Babson College (majors in Marketing and Economics). He serves on the Board of Counselors at Chapman’s Argyros School of Business and Economics, and is a member of the Aberdeen Group Advisory Board. Mr. Granville has served on the Board of Directors or an officer of eTrak Corporation, CimTelligence Corporation, and the Southern California Software Council.
Imelda Ford
Executive Vice President, Technology and Operations
Imelda Ford is natural and brilliant leader with over 15 years of project management experience for successful system application development and is currently the Vice President of Technology and Operations for Capita Technologies. For the last 8 years Imelda has been managing systems projects for the LA County Sheriff’s Department (CCHRS and LARCIS), the Probation Department of LA County (JCMS, PCMS), and LA County’s Information System Advisory Body (ISAB) which gives her a high degree of familiarity with government systems and processes. She has also had her hand involved in several custom application and eMarketing projects for Fortune 500 companies.
Mrs. Ford has consistently led a staff of up to 60 individuals while developing their skill, instilling vision, and inspiring them to achieve more. Imelda embodies the ideal leader as she is a forward thinker, detail-oriented, and deliverer of excellence. Imelda takes time daily for each employee to give direction, develop, and follow up with each individual on every project that she directly manages.
Imelda is an accomplished Information Technology executive who has consistently delivered technology solutions for a variety of Fortune 500 institutions. With her dual background in computer science and accounting, she has successfully implemented web-based as well as client server enterprise systems that have proven to be of value to various organizations.
Imelda project managed the mission critical web-based application for enabling law enforcement agencies to perform investigative analysis on criminals that they encounter. The system is called Consolidated Criminal History Reporting System (CCHRS) and is used by various agencies such as the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), District Attorney’s Office, Probation, Inmate Reception Center (IRC), Police Departments, Sheriff’s Office, Courts and other State departments. This system provides the capability of giving the law enforcement agencies and the justice community, timely and accurate information that they need to handle criminal subjects that they come into contact with, and allows for data sharing across the various agencies. It has also provided significant savings on software licensing as well as maintenance costs, for a large robust system that is used widely across various agencies. This project utilized various technologies such as Oracle Forms 6i on the web, Oracle 9iAS, Oracle 8i, J2EE, and XML/XSL.
Other projects include a J2EE application that is used to support the Schiff-Cardenas Act called Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act Tracking System (JJCPA). This application is used by the Community Based Organization providers that are authorized to provide services to juveniles, as mandated by the Schiff-Cardenas program. It is an application that utilizes Oracle 9iAS (including OC4J), J2EE, Oracle 8i and it allows the County of LA Probation employees to administer the application, the providers to capture required information regarding the services provided to the juvenile, as well as be able to invoice the County of LA Probation for the services they provided.
Mrs. Ford is a successful leader because she demands excellence while coming along side those she manages to teach, encourage and motivate. She can see the big picture while identifying the details thus delivering quality systems that impress our clients. Christian Mouritzen
Director, Practice Manager of eMarketing
With more than fifteen years in the corporate arena, Christian has impressed clients with his innovative strategic marketing solutions, entrepreneurial passion for business development, dynamic client relationships, and phenomenal leadership ability.
Christian has created Capita’s e-Marketing Practice from the ground up by generating new, strategic business and marketing solutions for current and new clients. He has acquired and built long-term business relationships with global customers from various industries such as Aventis/Allegra, Novartis/Ciba Vision, Hilton Hotels, Kellogg, Kraft, M&M Mars, Motorola, Paccar, Similac, and Taco Bell as well as created multiple strategic alliances with creative agencies leading to additional revenue sources. Christian is also responsible for Capita’s brand marketing.
Prior to 1999, Christian was President, VP of Marketing & Sales, of Paravisio Software, a collaboration software company. In 1995, Christian became Manager of Brand Marketing for VISA International, focusing on global brand strategy, brand building, and product development of emerging chip technology. Christian obtained his MBA at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Charlotte Bustle
Controller
Charlotte Bustle has been a core member of Capita Technologies since 1994. Charlotte is responsible for all of Capita’s accounting processes, including Accounts Receivable, financial statements, purchasing, revenue generation, and benefits. Prior to her accounting responsibilities, Charlotte managed the software development team for Xerox’s Distribution Order Management system for eleven years. Charlotte also managed a commercial manufacturing application, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger accounting modules.
Previous to joining Capita, Charlotte managed the development team for the Distribution Order Management System at Xerox, which included supply chain and material planning modules. Charlotte began her career at Xerox as a Business Consultant for Material Planning and the Supply Chain module in the Spare Parts Distribution division. Prior to her time at Xerox, Charlotte worked for a private consulting firm where she trained the Accounting team on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger software.
Before entering the technology industry, Charlotte conducted social work for the Probation Departments in San Diego County (California), Marion County (Indiana), and Allegheny County (Pennsylvania).
Charlotte graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Sue Vranich
Senior Project Manager
Sue is an Information Technology professional with over 17 years of technical experience on multiple platforms and in diverse industries. Her experience includes developing and supporting business applications on the mainframe, client/server and Internet platforms. She has the proven ability to understand complex business issues and effectively communicate them to members of the technical development team. She also has demonstrated success in all phases of the development lifecycle from Analysis through Post Implementation support. She continually demonstrates the ability to deliver successful projects on-time and within budget.
Sue has over 7 years of experience managing the development of online promotions, brand sites, and internal sales support sites for clients such as Mars (M&M’S, Snickers, Starburst, Skittles, and Mars Foodservices), Kraft (Oscar Mayer, Oreo, Milk-Bone, and Wheat Thins), Motorola, Allegra, Allstate, and Kaiser. She has also managed a number of integrated SMS and online promotions for Mars, Ciba Vision, Motorola, and Philip Morris.
Prior to joining Capita, Sue was a Senior Systems Analyst at Cendant Corporation in Relocation Accounting Systems Migration, where she managed a team of five analysts in the development of an integrated enterprise application that interfaces with a mainframe-based financial system and a variety of internal and external mainframe and client/server applications. This migration was successfully completed through several phased implementations over a two-year period, and currently has over 500 users in five sites nationwide.
Sue earned an MS in Management Science/Information Systems from California State University - Fullerton and a BA in Mathematics from Boston College.

Lane Campbell
Project Manager
Prior to joining Capita, Lane was a software engineering manager for nearly three years at IndyMac®, the seventh largest Savings & Loan and the second largest independent mortgage lender in the nation. Lane managed a development team responsible for customer-facing websites and sales/marketing applications. With a primary focus on web-based technologies, Lane lead a team to build and maintain complex point-of-sales software, multiple sales portals, company intranet, customer-facing websites, lead management application, and a loan submission application. Lane was also responsible for search engine optimization and the overall alignment of technology with corporate sales and marketing initiatives.
Lane worked as a software developer for over five years at Black & Decker, a global marketer and manufacturer of products used in and around the home and for commercial applications. During his tenure at Black & Decker, Lane developed several enterprise-level applications in support of engineering, sales, and marketing departments. Lane gained experience in manufacturing resource planning applications, employee relations applications, workflow intensive application, etc.
Prior to Black & Decker, Lane experienced various industries as a contractor with Allied Signal (Automotive and Aerospace Divisions), Caterpillar Inc., Rainbird, and ITT Aerospace.
